A trial is an essential part of preparing for your big day. Here, Hayley will go through different makeup looks to suit your wedding style. If you already have some possible ideas for makeup looks, now would be the perfect time to discuss them.
Hayley recommends scheduling a trial within 2-3 months of your wedding date. If your wedding is booked for the near future, you may want to book in for two trials as your preferences may change leading up to the date. Detailed face charts will be made to record all products used in the trial to ensure the makeup is replicated on the wedding day.
Trials will generally take place Monday-Friday due to weekend wedding bookings. The trial can last up to 2-3 hours. Many brides like to bring along a friend or family member to be there for support and are always welcome. The trial is also a good time to discuss timings and requirements prior to your wedding date.
On the day of the wedding Hayley will arrive 15 mins early to set up her kit. The bride shall be not the first nor the last to be made up. Positioning the timing so that the bride is in the middle will ensure the makeup will have time to settle and the bride will be relaxed and she can be touched up at the end.
Having your makeup completed within 45 minutes of the ceremony will allow enough time for you to get into your dress, photos to be taken and to enjoy the moment.
